FLOWER GRADING GUIDE

At Green Budz, we believe our customers deserve clear, honest information about the CBD flower they're buying. That's why we've created our own in-house grading system - so you can quickly understand the quality of each strain before you buy.

Our team grades every flower using four simple but important categories: Look, Aroma, Structure, and Overall. Each one is scored from 1 to 5, and then we total the points to give a full score out of 20. This score helps us convert everything into an easy-to-read overall grade (between 1.0 and 5.0) that appears on each product.

What We Score:

- Look: This is all about appearance. We check for things like colour, trichome coverage, trim, and visual appeal. Buds that look fresh, bright, and well-cared-for will score higher.

- Aroma: This refers to the scent. Is it strong? Is it unique? A great flower will have a clear, noticeable aroma that matches its description.

- Structure: This covers the physical build of the bud - size, shape, and density. A well-structured flower is properly trimmed, dense, and has that premium feel.

- Overall: This is our final verdict. It's based on the full experience of that batch, considering all three categories above and overall consistency.

Each score is out of 5, which means the total is out of 20.

How to Read Our Grades:

We convert the total score into a 1-5 rating by dividing it by 4. Here's what that looks like:

What Each Score Means:

1 - Poor: Below standard - may lack structure, aroma, or visual quality

2 - Fair: Basic quality - usable, but not premium

3 - Good: Decent flower with average look, scent, and build

4 - Great: Well-formed, aromatic, and visually appealing

5 - Excellent: Top-shelf quality - standout in every area
